What to Bring on your Course

•Small carry bag for books
• Good walking shoes
• Running shoes
• Hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and all medicine required
• Binoculars (Optional)
• Camera (Optional)
• Notepads (Minimum of two), pens and pencils – Please do not forget these items!!
• Water bottle and torch
• For sea excursions: costume, towel, snorkel and/or scuba diving equipment
• Books (Optional): Field Guide To Trees of SA (Braam van Wyk), Smithers’ Mammals of SA, A Field Guide (Edited by Peter Apps), Guide To Grasses of SA (Frits van Oudshoorn) & Bird Book (Sasol, Newman's etc)
• Mosquito net (Optional in summer months)
• Desk fan (Optional in summer months)
